Hey I'm a senior at CHS, just getting into trucks. Picked up this 75 Power Wagon for 1500 with Dana 44 front and rear, 4:10 gears, 4" block lift in back and 2" add-a-leaf in front, rebuilt 360, and 31's. It will recive TBI or FI, 37's and a 6" lift along with Dana 60 front and rear :D Here are two pictures of it trying on a rock. Here are two pics of my truck and a pic of my homies Chevy and Jeep

I know where there is two 6x6's complete in the middle of the desert just getting shot full of holes by drunken idiots. All axles where there last time I looked... :D

Hmmm, just talked to the guy who built my truck, he said theres a 60 in the rear after all. So I'm stoked, was misinformed by a fellow student. So all I really need is a Dana 60 front, lift, lockers and tires, oh and the TPI

What are you going to do geering wise, 4.10 won't do you good with 37's and you probably won't find a frotn 60 with the same gears. Tcase? Well not sure what it is but if it's rare GL ;)

You should check out the propane kits, see if they have one for it, real promising stuff for less then a new FI kit. Although you could go cheap and hard, just pick up a TBI stuff off a later model dodge 360 and piece it together :)

propane is cool and all but not a good idea. yeah no smog checks with propane, but you have to look at the other side of things. less gas mileage, sometimes less horsepower, and what happens when you are driving out in butt-fu*k egypt and run low on fuel? even if you find a gas station, more than likely, it doesn't offer propane. go with the tbi. just my $.02 :D

It's not practical for onroad use, but off-road it get's surprisingly good "mileage" And for vehicles with motors like the 22r that are not super easy to put FI on they make a better option. Probably in this case although piecing together wiring harness's isn't easy it's probably the easiest option available.

Thought I'd mention it :)

Yeah, I was thinking bout the gears yesterday, maybe some 529s? And my cousin can swap any engine and wire any wires with an ease so it shouldn't be a problem. Took the truck out to prison yesterday and hit up flex rock, I"ll post pics when they are emailed to me

depends on what rear axle you run, with a 14 bolt, the deepest you can go is 5.13's (you can get 5.38's but they are darn near impossible to get). If you have a healthy V8 and an auto, 5.13's should be fine

don't you think 5.13s are a little too low for 37" tires? they'd be ok for off road use, but (i'm assuming the truck is a DD) on road, they'll suck. maybe 4.56s would be better?

No way, 5.13's and 37's are perfect. My manche has 37's and 5.38's and I love it on an off road...just can't get anywhere going to fast. Also depends on the motor and trans.

Also depends on the motor and trans.

that's what i'm saying. low gears like 5.13s and 5.38s are perfect for the little engines and higher-geared trannies. but what about his v8 and lower-geared tranny? my uncle is a total mopar guy so most of this is coming from what i learned from him. he has a ramcharger with the same setup as pwrwagon's except for the dana 60 frontend he swapped in. he runs 33's with 3.73 gears and says that the 4.56s would be perfect with 37's.

but.......it could also be preference; whether you like to be able to get up to freeway-speed, or whether you just want more "power".

Truck has a 360 v8, auto trans, d60 rear and I'm looking for a d60 front. Truck is a DD but no free ways
