if the pic you want to post is on a website just hit the 7th icon over while in quick reply and paste the URL of the picture

the small pictures are the ones you upload and that is the way it is set by default, probably to help load the pages quicker

Personally I hate having pics posted as thumbnails. I don't want to have to click on every image just to see it. It's a pain in the ass

It's a trade-off between allowing people to upload huge pictures, that break page formatting, or resizing them to a more manageable size, or just listing them as thumbnails.

So what about resizing them? That's how it worked before. I'd take an image resized to the forum width over clicking thumbnails.

There's no "forum width", it's fluid. Most people have 1024x768 screen, if i re-size pics to fit their "small" screen, people with newer widescreen displays will have rather small pics.

I have had trouble too. This helps....some. Not as smooth as some other forums.
