You might want to reconsider having the spare on the roof. That's a lot of weight up high and will affect your center of gravity.

very nice, I like how the rack is mounted it should be strong enough for the tire up top.

x2 Plus the highlift, etc will really affect your COG and make you much more top heavy than needed, not to mention killing your MPG. That can make the difference between a pucker side hill and a flop. Looks cool for sure but for performance , well, that's another matter. I use a top rack for extended runs and only light, bulky stuff goes up there, like lawn chairs, bed rolls and the like.

Well if it becomes a problem for Alan to keep his tire up there or feels it to be bad for his COG the spare tire mount is removable....

Same thing for putting Jerry cans of gas up there. Each can full of gas weighs about 45 lbs !

The rack does look good tho !

I also have a rack built by Deluxx, I still need to weld up the roof mounts and some other stuff but I requested it that way. It is a 4'x6' rack with hi-lift mounts and will be totally bad-ass once I get it done. Pics to come soon, weather permitting.
