My name is matt and I have a 1980 TLC. It is my first project so I'm hoping to get some advice. It is stock as far as I can tell. Engine is solid. I am going to attempt a SOA first. Seeing as the springs and shocks are shot right now. I was looking at the OME 2" complete Kit to start the job and then flipping it. Any Knowledge here about the Watch outs, don't do's or think about first's? Thanks. Look forward to meeting some people.

TLC? Tender Loving Care? or is it a cruiser?

Welcome! I assume that you have an FJ40, right? Or do you have a wagon? There are a few Toyota guys on here that can give you pointers. The best suggestion I can make is to read Rusty TLC's build thread:

With the springover I consider turning the front knuckles mandatory so you have the correct pinion angle with proper caster.

Ya Toyota, Wagon. FJ60. It could use a little TLC, but what couldn't. I'll take a look at Rusty TLC's thread. Thanks.
