I was looking for a trash / camping trailer .Just hard to pack everything in to my 2 door JK for camping .I picked up this one for cheap .Wanted a hitch that would take the abuse of off roading ,so I cut off the hitch and found this one on line to build .Worked great as I was out scouting this weekend out in Cold Springs for the cleanup .Took the JK up every hill thru ditches up over some rocks and never had a problem ...Also lifted it build a better spot to mount the lights and lowered the fenders .For 200 bucks this thing is great !!!!

I don't think the safety chain bungee is up to spec ;-)

Seems like a new axle would be handy, that offset is huge..

Bro it has lift blocks. LolThe axle hangs down lower than the wheel hubs, that's the offset I'm talking about.. can't you remove the blocks and flip the axle?

The axle is more stable in the position it's in... if it were flipped, it would tend to try to roll back over and wrap the springs, would it not?

Not sure that the 3/4 ton M101 fits the "small trailer" bill

It's small to me. I didn't know he was looking for something to haul two trash bags.
