We went a few years ago on a trail ride to the Thompson mill site. We wanna do it again in the buggy. Anyone interested in tagging along?

Easy desert ride. Meet up at the little store in silver springs near 95 and 50 light. Going up 95 about 5 miles to Thompson mill site. Will hang around there so any trailer guys can disembark. Lots of sandy roads to explore. Stocker friendly. We have 2m ham,cb or FRS.

I recall reading somewhere the mill ruin is now blocked off. Still a fun area to play.

There wasnt any fences last time. If we get fenced out, there are plenty of roads to explore around and a couple other mines off Julia lane. Graba sammich and head out with us.

Turned out to be a fun run! Just a back country drive to a very cool mill site. Nothing fenced off. Now I've got to look up how they separate copper from the ore. The debris was very strange looking stuff. If you didn't go, you missed out on a fun run. Thanks Charlie and Willy for coordinating a good day that was enjoyed by all.

I really wished I could have gone on this run. Anyone up to going on a Sunday?

There is a proposed Pole Creek run either Oct 6 or 7.
