Yeah that's the same guy I posted in this thread back in December. He's added a partner and got a retail location now. They are working on their manufacturer license so they can build full-auto and short barrelled firearms.

MD guns is getting their FFL pulled. They have about 30 days to cease business. If you want something from them, you had better get it now. There is a possibility they can reopen in 3 mos, but not for sure.

They can still order if you want something special. Find it online and have it shipped to them. $15 transfers. They have ARs, AKs, SKSs, lots of Sigs , and XDs in stock.

News to me too. The ATF is silly stupid about clerical errors. They may have some jerk selling guns to gang bangers and the ATF will investigate for a year or two but make a clericial error on a 4473 or in your book and they come down on you like a ton of bricks. That's gotta be bad especially when the business is just really starting to move.:maddance:

I just did two 4473s today and I go over them maybe 10,000 times to make sure I did it all correct.

It was a paperwork thing between them and another shop or something. Dunno but that's one hell of a punishment for doing something wrong, I can't imagine....

That's just called dealing with the ATF.:spike: Every FFL knows sooner or later the ATF is going to come knocking or question something. Hopefully the FFL has the right answers, right then.

Martin is a legit guy. Can't imagine what he might have done other than some minor nuance that would cause him to lose his FFL

Something about Cali resident military guys getting not so Cali legal guns... BATF is not very forgiving when it comes to 'accidental' assault rifle sales...

Why?

October 15th, 2007, 09:27 PM
Well, for reasons I am not really sure he wants everyone to know. I mean it is not real personal I guess, but I dont want to start anything. If you want, call him and he will tell you. But, in short, it was so he can get his FFL back and start selling out of his house again. He is such a nice guy, I recommend talking to him and seeing for yourselves. Good company.
