I'm sure you and maybe everyone here knows that the original Jeeps were mostly built by Ford. Ford also pioneered massed produced superchargers used on all American planes in WWII. Before that old fart Henry figured out a way to make the precision impellers on an assembly line, they were individually made by hand and that was painstakingly slow. Many of the early planes went out without superchargers.

What does all my bs have to do with Jeep hats and shirts...nothing. I just thought I'd hi jack the thread. Sorry:(

My research shows Ford built 277,896 and Willys built 359,489 during WW2
