I looked around the NDOW website, but was wondering if anyone knew offhand if there is a fishing license that is good for all of nevada, or if I have to get a license in every area I go to. I am planning a camping trip around nevada and plan on doing a lot of fishing all over the state. It'd be easier if I had just one license for the whole state but I don't know how it all works. Thanks.

One licence will cover the entire state, however you will need to have a trout stamp. Even if you don't fish for trout.

it's just a way to get more $. You're supposed to have a trout stamp any time you're fishing in an area where you could potentially catch trout. If you're just fishing warm waters, there's no need for one

Also if you fish on a indian owned lake you have to buy their permit. Like pyrmid is 75 for a year. But trout season is from october 1st to may 31st only 7months to fish that lake for any thing worth catching. Boating is 75 for the year too.

Here's a little thing for military peeps if your in the NG don't use the military fishing licence!
Its illegal, if a game warden stops you and ask you what your in and you say NG its a big fine. The military licence if for active duty from NV only, that are stationed in other states.
So if your NG pay the 40 bucks.
