Whats up guys. New to the forum and since guns are my first love I figured I would start out in that section.

I am looking for somewhere to go shooting around the Sparks area that is closer than Pyramid. I like shooting up there and have found a few good spots but damn it seems like a long way to go.

Any ideas??

I can show you where to go in Fernley but can't help you in Sparks.:(

go to the hills on the east end of town. You will need a 4x4: know where to get one?:nervous:LOL Just be safe and have a good back stop.2 miles from people is the min

Which hills? The ones up behind the hospital off Vista. I went up in there and found a private property sign. I think I need to try and go a little farther south.

If your look'in for an area in spanish springs, take eagle canyon west past the high school almost to the top of the hill, we shoot in the canyons on the left.

Maybe they need to zero in a bit better so they can reach your house...:eek: could always try and call in artillery...;):D:chuckle::vroam:

Sunday afternoon we were shootong a little trap, trying to teach my 12 yr old to hunt birds.

We shoot most sundays, I bought a new trap thrower.

Sun Valley Blvd>Left on Leon> left on Chimney Dr.>straight until you hit the Dirt road,keep right all the way out for about 1 mile (when you hit the water towers, your half way there) keep right> once your about 1 mile out look for a good mountain to shoot against. There are tons of spots to shoot out there, mostly all to the right against the side of the mountain. You will see all the shells and casings on the ground when you find the right spot.
