Radio shack F350 w/ Mattracks acting up

I have had this rc truck for a few years now. Ilove it w/ the mattrack in the snow. It's been about a year since I played with it. I charged up the batteries and pluged the battery in and the wheels spin uncontrollably. The on/off on the truck and radio control doesn't stop the wheel spinning. The wheels spin full throttle and the radio control doesn't steer or anything.

Any ideas or is it toast?

had a tyco car that did the cool spin in circle and it did that to me. It was thrown as far into the air and blew up upon impact.
