Shooting Sat 1/12?

Would anyone like to join me for some fun shooting this Saturday? I plan to go at about 10am, to a location near Moon Rocks. Many of you probably know of this location, but I hesitate to get too specific on a public forum. PM me if you need specific directions, or meet me at my house at 9:30am, which is just off Pyramid Hwy .

Please bring stuff to shoot at (lately I've been enjoying shooting at frozen water bottles). Please be prepared to follow all firearm safety rules ( http://www.nrahq.org/education/guide.asp ) and have eye/ear protection. Please plan to haul out any trash you create (shells, targets, etc).

If anyone wants to try out a gun I happen to own PM me and I'd be happy to bring it along.

What kind of range you shooting at? I dont know if I can make it tomorrow or not.

We usually go about 1/4 mile past the moonrocks on winnemucca ranch road, to a spot that has a good 10-20 meter pistol area, and a little further down the road is a 50-100 yard place with alot of junk to shoot at. I might be going if this snow wheeling event falls through.

I know exactly where you are talking about. I drove down that way the other day. Looks like a good spot for pistol stuff.
I have been going out pyramid just south of the rez. I think it is around steves loop. I have been shooting my rifles out there and havent run into anybody so it works for me.

I just wish we didnt have to drive so far to go plinking

Although there is usually some trash around, you should bring stuff to shoot at.

Well its raining here, and the radar looks like it is likely to get worse, so I think I'll put this off until tomorrow. Maybe if the sun busts through in the next hour or so I'll still go.
