I have been out of ridin for a long time and am starting to look around for a new ride

They make a lot of sense if you are 6'2" or taller.

Pros:
Rolls over obstacles better
Keeps momentum

Cons:
Slower handling
Accellerate slower
Big one for me - less options in tires, parts may be hard to find.


Bicycle Bananas has 6 or 7 out on the floor. Including a $4k Pivot FS model

I am 6'2" and think they are neet but the $ is slowing me down

They start in the $500s, but of course that is a rigid single speed.

Bicycle bananas has a nice Jamis front suspension model for $1300 and a KHS for $1000.
