looks like the place i checked out yestrerday ripping around on the dirt bike--- west of old 395 in the secondary foothills... only danger was the several target shooters that don't give a damn for the back drop. some fools in a dodge were only 1/4 mile from some homes and shooting straight toward old virginia street with no backdrop of any sort. just level ground blasting away w/ .22s at some beer bottles they brought to drink and shoot. came back later ant of course they left their empty shell boxes and broken bottles right ojn the trail. From now on, i'll have the camera along for the bike rides.
went over to bud canyon-- some water flowing thru the creek but no rigs playing.
We need some common sense out there...

That's not stupidity. It's natural selection, the gene pool weeding itself out. :D

That's one cool thing about Mexico. When you go down there there's a ****load more cool stuff to do because if you **** yourself up it's not their problem, you can't sue. When you swim with the dolphins I think there safety speach consists of " if you put your fingers in the dolphins air hole or his eyes he'll let you know about it" I'm not saying that Mexico's all that, I just wish laws could be met in the middle with a little common sense. Instead of making a mil off of McDonnalds for burning her f'n lipon her drive through coffee that lady should have been laughed out of the courtroom with a nice remark from the judge saying, "don't let the door hit you in the ass stupid".

the place we explored is not the same place as in the thread pix-- we were north of the 7th street pits that time. Those mines used to be a cool party spot. the upper one, now 'dozed over, had a winze open to the sky and was a great pallet burning spot. as for the other remainig open tunnel, just after the opening is the incline to 'hell' as is painted over the portal and is one deep mutha! only once did i venture all the way down till it hit water-- that was enough! what with bad air and deadly gasses, i'll pass on the deep under ground exploration, however, leave me ur heep keys if u go down, so i can inherit ur 4x4!
haha
the shot in this thread is a different place just north west of bonanza casino. we can rip up there in the heeps sometime after work and i'll show u-- its a 2 beer run and close to 395.
second thought, better take more than two...
