Just went up to Corral loop the other day, with the bike I got from
AR15SHOOTER, ( THANKS BUY THE WAY, THE BIKE IS SICK)
and I'm looking for other trails and people in south lake that want to go for a ride some day!:beer::smokin:

I used to ride DH. I had a Rocky Mt. RM9 and a Specialized Big Hit. I had a P1 that I rode urban with. I spent most of my DH time up at Northstar. I rode Downieville once, and it was awesome. We rode the N trail up on Peavine a bunch too. Ophir Creek was fun one as well. Man I miss riding.

geiger grade is a sick trail, but you need some one to shuttle, it's a short run, only about 3-4 minutes, very steep, fast and fun. there's a new DH specific race trail being built on peavine at the moment, it's not done yet though. Tyrollean is on the northside of the lake, but is a really fun trail. I'm not sure what else is on the south side. Couple of my favorites are Thomas and Whites creek, but not really hard, but still fun to rip down on a DH bike.
if you can go hit up downieville before the snow comes, that trail is sweet on a big bike

There is some pretty sick stuff in the Pine Nuts too if you want to ride this winter. Someone built some gnarly obstacles up there........huge gaps and drops. I wouldn't take them on my motorcycle......
