can aluminum be welded with a mig welder? I know tig is best but was wondering if I can weld it with my mig welder.

You will need a spool gun, or change out the liner in your current one to use the aluminum liner, also requires a different gas and wire of course. Never done it before but it can be done.

no problem, Just go back to the welding shop and ask them what you need. I weld alum all the time with mine but I have two guns.
