Anyone going to enter? The course follows most of the track I've been running for the last few weeks, it's a 14 mile loop. I ran the race course a couple times this weekend and did it in 1:31:00. Beginners do one lap, experts and pros do two. I think I'm gonna give it a shot, even though I need some more conditioning, just to see how I do. Each lap has 2200 vertical feet of climbing, and some killer downhill, one STEEP rocky section. Should be fun.
This bike kicks ass, I've lost over 20 lbs in three weeks, down to 225, and feel great. I'm still riding Tues, Thursday, and at least once on the weekend, if any care to join up. We're meeting at the softball feild parking lot on Virginia, just above McCarran, by 5:00 pm Tue, and Thurs.

LOL so that's what that was. We were out shooting a few weeks ago--and I've been up there more recently, and there's these little red arrows everywhere, and a bunch of nervous bikers watching us with guns.

I'd like to ride with you guys but my fat ass would just slow you down :D I do most of my riding around Rattle Snake Mtn. I've found a killer single track trail in the huffaker hills area.
Thanks for the heads up on the race, I love watching the pros, they make the hard stough look like a cake walk, they don't even slow down.

Sounds good Kieth, I'll talk to ya monday.
Ya, some wiseass, up there shooting, lol thought it would be funny to move some of the arrows around and got me way off track earlier in the week.
Come on out Dennie, I'll wait for you at the top. That's what my buddy told me when I started, and now I'm waiting for him.
