As usual a very nice product. I got to hold the new ones today and it was even nicer in person. I'm very impressed with the overall quality of the shock compared to my bilstein coilovers. If I did it over I'd go with Fox.

Ya, one of the rear by-pass shocks alone cost double what i paid for the whole truck. Ive got a ford 9inch for the rear with a set of 62inch dever race leaf springs and for the front iam getting rid of the 4-wheel drive:yes: and making my own front upper and lower arms , and iam going to put a race legal cage in it, out of 1-3/4 .120 wall DOM and iam putting a fuel safe fuel cell in it !

IS IT COMMON TO USE THE UPPER Y LINK IN DESERT RACING OR ARE YOU TRYING SOMETHING DIFFERENT???I AM CURIOUS JUST BECAUSE IF I SPIN THE REAR TIRES ON THE TRUGGY ON THE PAVEMENT THE REAR TIRES WILL HOP....ONE SIDE AND THEN THE OTHER.MAYBE ITS BECAUSE I HAVE AIRSHOCKS AND NO SWAY BAR.

SORRY FOR THE QUESTION,NO THREAD JACK INTENDED!!!!!!:squint:

I'm curious why use an upper y-link rather than a traditional traingulated upper 4 link.

3 links are almost as popular in pre runners and off road racers as 4 links. They work very much the same, and any odd handling quirks are more from springs and shocks or from how a design is carried out, like say too much anti squat, or too soft of springs can cause problems.

3 links have won many races off road, for instance Arnold, the Trophy Truck that has won more Baja 1000's than any other machine has a 3 link in the back.

You can use a plasma its a little harder . A band saw is the best thing to use for it, you just take like two pieces of square tubing and clamp then down on the table were your piece of tubing fits in between them and just make sure your line it up in the middle of the band saw blade and cut away !!!

Don't be hatin'. Wood is easy to work with and cheap. If he breaks something in the middle of nowhere, he'll just chop down some sagebrush for a replacement.
