When you go out for long rides, what do you take (I.E. tire plugs, fix a flat etc.) What do you guys recommend to pump up tires when you are out?

Like the 20 oz. paint ball tanks? What would I use as a regulator and how much would a set up like that cost?

I have a plug kit and a Mini foot pump ...

This thing is tiny, and works great. I aslo toe along a basic tool kit/JB weld/spark plug etc... I stuff it all in a little pack that I strap onto my bike.

Those long slender bike pumps are a pain in the ass. hard to get leverage on and buy the time you got threw pumping up an atv tire you would have serious arm pump.

check here for some different pumps.

or you can just avoid hitting big nasty rocks that cut your sidewall.

i recommend that you don't follow me cause I tend to get lost even when I know where I am going....plus I forget you are on a big wide quad and cows trails just don't cut it. Actually though I though it was that big rocky hill that did that to your tire, but with six ply sidewalls you should be okay now!!!!

that sucks, but Coors was a big supporter of Sierra Club as well, so is Budweiser...its all political bs....they don't give a crap anymore then the next business trying to make a buck. I was just trying to show Sauce some different pumps. Want to save the environment??? Go plant a Sierra Club member!:fight:

a mini safety-seal kit is a good idea and mountain-bike style CO2 cartridges are good as well. Reno Cycles and GEar on Keitzkie has em. Across from Apes saw.

Until i get the saddlebags, most of what i carry is on the person

Camelback, cell phone, 1st Aid kit, GPS, goggles, HK USP .40 with lanyard of course, binocs, radio--- depending what ur doing will dictate what/how much gear to bring--otherwise, u'll need a quad trailer for ur junk.

Well after last nights ride I belive sauce needs to carry about three tire repair kits. He got a gash in his front sidewall that by the end of the night had no less than about 11 or twelve plugs in it. the gash just kept getting longer and longer and he just kept pokin more and more plugs in....time for some six plies for the front too!

We were riding peavine. The tires are the crappy 2 ply stockers. I got some 6 plys front and rear so i won't have to worry about it now :D
