I am new to the area, came from northern cali and I have three quads. I am looking for places to ride, I already have been up in the pevine area but looking for more. I've heard of hunter lake but not sure where that is. Any new spots would be great.

Hunter Lake is off of Caughlin near Scollaris. Take the next left after Scolarris and look for the Hunter lake sign at the end of a cul-de-sac. That's how i found it one time.
If you have a trailer, you might want to check out the areas off of Deadman's Loop and Jumbo Grade.
Deadman's loop begins at the Ranger Station across from Washoe Lake. Go south on 395. You'll be going a few miles out of Reno. Take a left onto Eastlake Blvd (It's at the top of the hill near the victims of dui's memorial). Go for about 5 miles. The ranger station will be on the left after the long straightaway (you'll notice the 45 mph signs.) The trail head looks like the driveway to the ranger's house.
This one will take you all the way to Mt McClellan and Mt Davidson. There's a ton on trails leading off of it in every direction.

Sauce, Crew D, Big Blue and myself did a 45 mile ride after work the other night. Went over top of peavine and down to bordertown then to dog valley and back to peavine. We'll post up next time we go.

Brian, I, and some of his friends rode the rubicon today. If you plan on doing it on a quad you better pack a lunch!!!!!

Do you have good aftermarket skid plates on your Raptor?

If not get some cause CrewD like rocky trails and make sure your tires are up too snuff. Some real awesome scenery on the trails he knows. Like Saucy said its real pretty....
