How do you fix a zipper on a Jeep window? Do I have to replace the entire zipper or are there any tricks to make it easier? ANy shops in the area that may do the work if it is too much of a pain?

Jp Mag just had a cheap easy way to fix them. I'll see if I can post it when I get home tonight. (scan the picture, etc.)

Upholstery shop should be able to cut the old one out and replace it with a new heavy-duty zipper. I need to do the same thing.

the top part of the zipper seems to work fine, the bottom seems to be "stripped out" ie. It slides completely freely...

Thanks Bro, It worked perfect! The top part was stuck pretty good, I had to hit it with PB blaster, then I was able to bend the zipper and it works like new!
Productive afternoon, I fixed the wipers too, loose connection...

Great glad it could help. I guess that magazine is good for something other than just making me wish I had a butt load of money.
