-Pizza, the other two guys that are coming haven't been out there yet but i think we are doing the waterfalls. its going to be a quick trip, one of the other guys needs to be at work before 5 too. see you friday.

-Connect, i'm not sure if the MJ can do it, but im sure he will probaly try. from what i remeber from last time out it looked like it would be very hard for a stock rig to make it. you would definatly need all your skids(especially rocker protection) but depending on all this rain we have been getting we might not make it through the waterfall. this is just a quick trip out to have a little fun. it would be great if you could come for a few hours with us.
-Nick, i was thinking the same thing about the water. hopefully it wont be too bad, but it could make things really tricky if the rocks are all wet . climing that switchback could be very interesting ;) after the storms too.

Connect, if you plan on going up the waterfall then no a stock XJ will not make it, if you want to go up the other way then i dont see any reason that you wont make it unless its very muddy out there, which it very well could be.
Heres a Few pics of the last run we had out there

I think looking at it that just about any 4x4 could make it... the question is how much damage did you want to get on the way over. I know I held my breath as Eric was going through when he was less than an inch from the rock wall.
I feel my Cherokee would have made it. There were more than enough spotters and enough extra rocks to move into place, I just try to keep my vehicle as dent free as possible, so I chose not to. Rock crawling isn't really my thing, anyways....

amen to that nevada xj... haha.. i looked under my jeep for the first time the other day after steves loop with everyone.. i should take some pics.. the reason why i had to winch was that i cought myself on one of my body mount posts... it is totally bent now.. but it looks cool... and i dented the hell out of my crossmember even some more... but i dont care about that stupid thing anymore... its been beat to shiznit since a month after i bought the vehicle.. and it is its own damn fault for being so low to the ground.. bad jeep design ( and my tcase lowering spacers haha)... nonetheless, i look at my body damage and smile, feeling a little bit better after reminiscing back on the good times i had doing it...
some guy came up to me the other day at the bank looked at my fender and asked me if he could bend it back straight.. i laughed and told him that he could not pay me to let him fix it.... i would never let anyone fix it!.. i love how it looks@~!! i chuckled, as i walked away thinking back on how much fun i had at hunter lake, walking off of a rock, straight into a tree and giving it that beauty mark
chicks dig my rig... its 'hardcore'

Ha Ha, so it was you guys! I was out at buger king and say the red jeep that looked familiar with the winch and front bumper. Then I saw a few more rides pull up. I was driving the maroon XJ w/ 30's on it, parked a few spots over from ya guys till I saw the line inside burger king!!! aparently the whole elementary school was there for lunch!!!

Recap from yesterdays trip: there were rigs out there, me, Tony, my friend Harry who brought his dad and his buddy. Harry's dad was the one with the MJ that rocked. makeing it through the water falls easier than i thought he would. but being heavy on the right foot helped too. the other friend has an EB on 35's, he cruised through the trail pretty easy too. Tony blew a bead while starting the first water fall. a quick tire change and he was up and hrough the obsticle. he later had to winch himself on the second because he took a hard left line and got him self hung up on some rocks. i was happy because i was able to make it up the falls because last time i didn't do it. i made it fairly easy with the exception of a few new dents on my rockers :D . other than that it was a great day of wheeling.
-RenoRacing, you should of come by and chatted with us before we left. maybe next time though.

I was actually killing a few minutes at work before doing a service call on a house out there. Not quite ready for the waterfall! :(
