I want to get one of these. Does anyone have one? Do you like it?

You'd probably be the coolest guy on the street if you had one. People like me would be showing up at your door to try it :D

Most people start with a shotgun or .22. Looks like you don't mess around

It's only $1300, but it's on backorder.

they're cool, but I bet replacement parts are a ***** to get and pricy too.

It does look nice, but getting parts/accessories could be a real hang up. Plus that is alot of external sh!t to deal with when breaking down the weapon to clean it.

Come out one weekend and try out my Bushmaster XM-15. It may change your mind, unless you are one of those MAC guys :D :gapteeth: ;)

Parts, cost of ammo, etc would be a concern. Plus, you could buy a few different caliber rifles with $1300.

ya gets what ya pay for... buy cheap, get cheap. i spent almost $2k for an HK91 and it was worth every penny! Shoots circles around my Norinco M1A1, and it was like $400 couple years back. About $1k is the threshold for a decent rifle in .223 and up. Also, more different calibers = more stuff to carry. I'm in the process of revamping the gun list to have as many same calibers as possible-- soi it'll be
rifles all .308
all pistols at .40
and scatterguns all in .12 ga

good luck and if u get it denis, lets go blasting sometime!

Well, $1300 will get you at least a couple of good Winchester 30-.06's. I know I'm comapring apples and oranges here.

But if you get it Dennis, I wanna see this thing in action. Nothing like throwing some lead on a nice fall afternoon.:D

Mark, interesting to note that you favor the .40. I find it the hardest to shoot of a majority of the calibers. I have a much easier time handling recoil on a .45 than a .40 (comparable sized guns)

And here's my next purchase when I get around to it: http://kel-tec.com/su16a.html

i've carried .45s for years and i still like 'em-- and will keep the Glock 21 and my beloved 1911, however after many hours of side-by-side use, the .40 wins by a slight edge. I once emptied a full magazine into a wooden target and was confident of my off-hand aim. only one hole in the target, so i'm a lousy shot? no, i split open the log round and found all 12 rounds piggy-backed onto eachother and compressed into a long stick of copper and lead. they all follwed ihto the same entrance hole-- fired from about 25 paces out. that's accruacy. besides, i like the HK's tritium night sights--i've had to tape over them at night cause it glows so darn bright, like a night light.

that keltec looks like the old colt M67-- .22 rifle and .410 shotgun combo as a folding survival weapon Like this
