Does anybody know when these will start to hit the dealers? I called a bunch of places today, and nobody seemed to have any idea. I want one! I was going to go with the kahr kp9, but this a bit smaller, lighter, and much more reasonably priced.

be aware that keltecs are hit or miss in quality, if you have a good one, it's good, if you have a crap one it'll always be crap. but they do have a lifetime warranty so you should be ok.

Rarely do I purchase something before it's gone through an initial public release, and the bugs have been worked out. However, in lieu of getting a kahr p9 or kel-tec p11(?). I'm willing to be the "beta" tester for this weapon. I'll put the mandatory 1000 rounds through it that go through all my new semi-auto pistols and have heard nothing but good things about kel-tecs warranty.
For the price of the gun (~$270) it's worth it even if there's a few minor glitches that need warrenty work. Make no mistake though, the gun will be well broken in and assuredly free from problems before it makes it to my side on a daily basis.

I called kel-tec. there have been 100 of them shipped initially. Couple weeks for the next larger batch to go out.
Not sure why anyone would care, but there ya have it

Kairo,
Would you like to beta test my KelTec P11?;)
Bought is about six years ago. Out of the box got metal shavings from the slide rail. Called & they sent me new recoil springs.:(
By far, the most worthless POS EVER. Jams up all the F*CKING TIME. Not reliable, kinda like my EX :(

Is the P11 the 9mm or the .32? What do you want for that hunk o' junk?

Just a Ham sandwich LOL . From the Honey Baked Ham store....so that is...hmmm. ....let's see....
Really, it is hard to offend a guy who thinks being rich is being able to go to Mcdonalds every day for breakfast. But that gun offended me, and my wallet.
Paid $270.00 and cannot hit a 8" ring from 20 feet away.
Every other handgun I have can hit 8" targets from 15 YARDS away.....
Oh yeah...and none of my other handguns jams up like like the KelTec - that thing is like a studdering John when it comes to jamming up.:gapteeth:
The old Ruger P89 has now....4000+ rounds through it. It cost $329.00
It has NEVER EVER jammed up. And you can hit Soda cans at 20 yards all day.
Now I would like to tell you about the SIG, or the Glock, but time for me to get off my soapbox. I am feeling like a victim again thinking about that POS.

I think I used to have one of those...you should let me take it for a while and I'll see what I can do with it.
Oh, and if you fill in the url with the un-censored version it works ;) (b1tch)

Old thread I know, but Mark Fore and Strike has the KelTec PF9 in stock. I checked it out, and its got a much nicer trigger than my P11. (which has been excellent btw).
