Rubicon conditions as of 5/30

Just got back from a day trip on the Tahoe end of the 'con. There is still lots of snow up there! 90% of the trail is covered 3-4 feet deep just up from the staging area. Made it in as far as Miller Lake before we turned around. The snow is melting fast but based on what I saw today, the trail is going to be wet and muddy well into July.

Spoon I think we passed you towing in (buggy?) on our way out Monday morning. lots of snow but still fun we went up to Miller also and headed back and camped near the parking lot at the bottom

Yep that was me that you passed on the road when you were going out.

I was up there too (yesterday or the day before, i forget) and it looked snowy
