Pareto Point Industries (PPI) has recently introduced MagDog, a patented Parallel Bypass Flow (PBF) magnetic filtration device which captures and retains ferrous material that passes through the typical factory-installed spin-on oil filter. Engine damage, even leading to catastrophic engine failure, can occur due to the recirculation of abrasive debris as small as two to fifteen microns. Removing these particles significantly reduces engine and critical component wear.
