I had all those stompers...and even the ones that could go on water...I used to buy model offroad trucks just to get bigger tires... they need to seriously bring those back. Toys today are so damn overpriced and just plan crappy.

I do the same thing for my son. He's 4 and he has already got 2, 5 gallon buckets full of hotwheels.
I used to love the stompers, you can find them on ebay. Funny story, my babysitter (male) had a stomper semi with car trailer. I broke it and he got pretty mad at me yellin and screamin, well I said "i hate you!" guess I hurt his feelings cuz he told me to look him in the eye and say it. So I punched him in the eye and said "I hate you" (thought he said punch me in the eye) I was like 7 he was 16. I will always remember that from Stompers...

Oh how I wish they would bring these things back... they were cool for the time...yeah it wasn't remote control and yeah it wasn't fancy but they worked and hell they were pretty durable for a kids toy... also on the hot wheels comment, I have been collecting strictly 67-69 (first gen.) Camaro hotwheels, matchbox, and others for the last 10 years and now my house is loaded with them big n small I just about have them all... some are micro and some are huge and some of them you can build and some are remote control, and all of them are in the original boxes untouched... maybe they'll be worth something someday

These were big in the mid 80's. You barely missed them. :(
