Nope b/c I have two 12 gauges with about 40 rounds of lead under my bed! Saw the ghetto bird last night! The only time we see choppers out in Loyalton is BAD NEWS, somebody (I usually know) is hurt bad! I think Im pretty good on home protection however, I would love to pick up a handgun since I cant seem to steal any away from my dad! Too bad none of you guys want to sale to a california person!!!

So now that I live in Reno can I go buy a firearm or is there a residency period that I have to go through?

I would like to do that but then I would have to smog my jeep every year which would mean I would have to get all the smog equipment from a donor engine! As of right now, I dont have to smog any of my vehicles being registered in Sierra County...

Also, I have preference points for deer hunting and Im hoping to get a good tag this coming fall.

I left my jeep at GSR and went to get ammo at 1:30 1 box left of .223 no .308 of the cheap stuff. Now at the next show I need to buy 4000 rounds.

I went yesterday. Seen yor XD 45 there, thinking of selling my XD 9mm and getting one of those bad boys! Also seen some nice S&W 45's there....like a kid in a candy store, can't make up my mind. I hear that the show coming up in April at the Hilton (GS) Has a better selection of guns, anyone ever been to that one?

The one at GSR is BIGGER, but not always better. The last one kinda sucked, as everything was just so over priced. I like the convention center one mainly because you have room to actually look, and it's easier to see everything.

I bought a remington 700 7mm from a guy where I used to work witha mil-dot scope (BSA) and paid $400 for it..(it's a nice rfle, but a bit on the heavy side and I'd like to get some trigger work done to it (like a lighter trigger and better stock) and want to add a muzzle brake..(Lee Baker down in carson has a good one called the baker braker...so plan on taking it to him and getting it re worked soon...(Jewel trigger and a muzzle brake)...:thumbsup: gonna wait till it gets a bit warmer then will head out to the pyramid range and dial it in again..(just hate shootin it (kicks like a mule)

I went to the gun show before the 4x4 show. Picked up 1000 rounds of 9mm, but no guns. Seemed like a better show than the last few Crossroads shows. More selection of actual firearms.

Saw a Saiga 12 there. Haven't seen one at a show in few years. Unfortunately it was about $100 overpriced.
