Hey does anyone know where to get some military surplus ammo or some cheaper stuff for a .50 BMG? I think i'm going to be picking it up on friday.:rock:

Ya baby, I picked it up today, and an M4 they had sittin there with some new sight on it like those day glo ones only you look through it. i'll put up some pics when I get home :D :rock:

Not as many people cast their own bullets for the bmg due to the pressure and extreme fouling.

I would email Miss Moneypenny for sure. Last time I talked to her she had a bunch of linked ball and some loose tracer.

Can you imagine lead bullets in a 50 BMG??? Holy crap! It might look like Niagara Falls out of the end of the barrel.:gapteeth: Hell full metal jackets is what made the 50 BMG and other super caliber guns possible.

I have seen a few guys that did it. But they were all using a specific alloy that was pretty hard and they had loaded down quite a bit.

One big concern isthe bullet coming apart in the brake and ripping it off. Same reason you are not supposed to shoot SLAP rounds in a gun with a brake.

lol there used to be pictures up i think, but i don't remember i posted this a long time ago. It was an armalite ar-50 and a bushmaster m-4
