Just turned 90k on it today. With proper maintenence are these 200k engines?

it doesnt matter the maker of the engine if you do the maintnace on it they'll last for a while
my pops 48 ford with its flat head V-8 with an un-told amount of miles it leaks little oil but still starts strong

My First Car was a 87 Buick Regal with a Olds 307 Old Lady That owned it before me, had the oil changed every 2500 miles every maintinace item done on it earlier than needed and when i traded it in it had 457k on it and ran just like the day it was new, i saw it about 2 months ago and its beat up now but still going strong with over 500k.
Take care of something and it will take care of you.

My pops, and one of my brothers have early 90's Chevy pickups with small blocks. They both have well over 250K, but still run great, and have very few issues, and no major issues. They have not even seen perfect maintenence.

I had a 1992 chevy full size blazer that I had 227,000 when I sold it . It would only burn 1/2 quart oil between oil changes you would not have to add a drop of oil and it ran great.. 350 5.7 by the way..

I love how people always know someone who has a vehicle that has some untold number of miles.

used to habe a 91 GMC w/ the 4.3-- it was a great motor and w/ the manual tranny, was quite the gas mizer.. it finally died when the head gasket failed and antifreeze got places it should not. 105K miles.
sold it to a poor mojado before it finally gave up the ghost.

oops, it was the intake manifold gasket that went kaput, not the head gasket.

I pulled my 95 4.3 out of the junkyard with unknown miles on it, and it has 60psi oil pressure, and 130-136psi compression. The oil was black as night when I got it, but after several oil changes, and synthetic oil, it is staying fairly clean.
My Yota 22r- Just sold it with 256,000, runs strong. My grandpas' 92 Chevy truck 5.7 has well over 300,000, and runs strong.
