I have forwarded some info to Larry Anderson about sheriff's deputies turning away those who want to run Bud Canyon. Larry needs to know the names of the deputies and who the 'wheelers are who were told the route was closed. You can email Larry direct at <lcanderson@fs.fed.us> if you were told Bud Canyon was closed. ID of deputies is important.

But no I haven't been up there since we ran it. Do you think they pulled it off of the optional line to the right?

Hard to tell where it came from. Yeah maybe to the right , or up higher to the left somewhere, couldn't tell for sure. I DEFINITELY don't remember it being there before.

Why is it that when I say Jibs start a thread called "New obstacle - Bud Canyon" I expected a Brat to be a permanent addition to the middle of the trail. :D

why is it I hear of a new trail from some one on this site its closed or in really bad shape from some puck ass. If you really want to keep wheelin dont be stupid, clean your crap up and dont tare up the trails. I am no tree hugin hippie but damn it, I want to go wheelin and I dont want more trails closed.

Jibs is right there is a new rock (huge rock) in the middle of the first waterfall. :pissed: Somebody ought to have there asses kicked. I think they moved in hopes of making it easier but that didnt happen. I couldnt get up and over it as my rear diff kept getting hung and you can see where others had tried to and they got hung up on the middle. So I eventually made it by going far driver on the canyon.

Made the rest of the trail no problem, got the last waterfall on my first try.

it seemed too easy to me.

that rock thats in the middle of the first waterfall has made it more like a speed bump instead of 2 rocks on each side. add the winter erosion that has happened to the first waterfall over last winter, and there isnt even a waterfall there anymore!!!
