I have a meeting on Thursday, July 26 at 9:30 a.m. at the Carson Ranger District office in Carson City to discuss possible modifications to the MATMP. If anyone can reserve that day to attend the meeting, please do so.

A copy of my appeal of the MATMP has been posted on the Hills Angels website under Land Use for those who may wish to read it.

I was sent a copy of the MATMP from the Forrest Service. When I read thru it, I could not find any copies of the public comments. Is that a standard practice or is there an addendum that has additional information ?

I just watched the piece on channel 2. Phil took a good defensive posture in his sound bites. The cuts of video in my opinion with close ups of his tire indicated offroaders drive near poor defensless plants(TOTAL SPIN). Along with the bites from Gary Schiffer (USFS) that suggested that he is only trying to protect us from ourselves, the overall feeling I got was "THE GOVERMENT KNOWS WHATS BEST FOR US" so lets not negatively effect future development. I call BULL**** ! As I've said before You guys who spend more time talking about "COOL RIGS AND TIRES" will not have a place to wheel them if you don't get involved with land use issues. There are lots of groups out there that are well organized and fighting against your rights to use land we all own. "IF NOT YOU, WHO? IF NOT NOW, WHEN?" GET OFF YOU ASS AND DEFEND YOUR RIGHTS !!:maddance:
