I was just wonderin when the next comp is at moon rocks? Im trying to find a good excuse to take the Rhino out, and to test out my new scaler. Thanks
A better ending to an r/c rock crawling era could not have been scripted by Hollywood. I often wondered why Tinsel Town makes sooo many "base on a true story" movies and after playing a leading role in Saturday’s epic drama, I know why. ...48 hrs earlier...The sun is coming up over the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and being this close to Fordyce is driving, pun intended, my 1:1 fever higher than normal, but with the Toyota still acting as yard art and currently being driven by a gnome, I am forced to take the aspirin of r/c rock crawling to quell my fever. The location has been a dream spot ever since I first laid eyes on the river that flows so magnificently through the mountains, but actually being at the river was truly a religious experience. The area was huge. The waterfalls were swift, deafening, and just a Picasso of Mother Nature. My course gauge went in to overload and I knew that this was going to be a special day. With the courses laid out with Axial gate...
The final round of the summer series will be held at the Cisco Grove campground. http://www.ciscogrove.com/ There will be a $5 charge to park, so we have reduced the registration fee accordingly. Its just over an hour from Reno very near to where the camp and crawl was this year. This spot has been giving Parker sleepless nights for years so its going to be off the pimp chain. Lets say good bye to the BPRCA with one hell of great comp!

HOWDY, here is another BPRCA poll. the last poll indicated RTC would be the most popular class. scaler 1.9 class ranked second with less than half the votes. this vote will end on Sept 1st. Depending on this vote. This new class will start at the next bprca event on September 19th. If the MAD Class is chose, CKRC will be stocking the crawler and parts for it! It will be the same price as listed on there site. What if we do the new mad class? Its a little super, novice, RTC and scaler class all in one. Read below.
Same great place, same great time. Show up for a hardcore practice before the Proline World Championships. See ya there, Parker
Well I must say that the BPRCA's night comp did not disappoint. There was something for every driver who attended to have sweet dreams about or relentless nightmares. Course 1 featured Toxic Sh!ts Creek with the holes from hell. This tormented most while others laughed at the nuclear waste. This course was a handful from all the boundries which limited drivers "thinking outside the box" to a mere suck it up and drive yo sh!t. Course 2 was lavishly laced w/ the 24 kt gold "Pimp Bridge". Most drivers got b!tched slapped by this bridge and put to work on 4th and vassar. Course 3 lured drivers into the KY Krack Line. A driver was well lubed prior to entry and easily penetrated thru this crack of pleasure before they were dumped into the used rubber pit of tires. History has taught us that this obstical was as easy as a :censor:. Course 4 was straight forward. Driver vs rock. Rock man handled the Novices and Pro Drivers punked rock. Take notes novice driver, rule the...
Just like it says, this is a poll. For those of you who attened the rock race what do you think. Would you like to do a bprca comp once a month and a BPRCA rock race once a month?
We are looking into starting a new low dollar class for the bprca. The class will be a spec type class that limits everything from tires to batteries. We want to see more people get into the comps and not have to spend more than $2-300.00 to run and be competitive. Here are some examples. 1. Axial RTC 2.2 Crawler class. 250.00 package deal. rules: stock proline hammers only, can be grooved, foams modified, and weight added only. servos allowed: stock servo, mg995 servo, hitec 645mg. No servos over 40.00 retail are allowed. no BECS allowed or receiver packs.
Crawl comp time once again, kiddies. We will be overlooking one of the worlds largest trailor parks and admiring the pracmatic driving of " JACK SMASH" and his band of ferry men, the Cone Killers. They will be performing at the neutron bar after the crawl comp. See ya soon, sukkas.
Are we gonna be in "scum valley" again? I really like that spot, even though i get my a$$ handed to me there!:banghead:
The "Night Comp" is near so be sure to pick up some Monsters now since there may be shortage soon as the BPRCA's "Drivers" prepare for this event. The comp starts at dark when "Drivers" will be put to the test against some the craziest obstacles you've ever imagined. Tech will begin about 8:00pm, and the start of event will be between around 9:00 once it is dark. Many competitors will be camping out so feel free to bring your tents or trailers. Rules: All normal BPRCA rules apply to the night event except for the addition of the lighting. All vehicle lighting and personnel head lights must also be teched in. The only type of lighting allowed on your person is a headlight that has colored lenses. No Clear or yellow lenses! Rigs can have as many lights as you desire, but must still pass tech. Other than your teched personnel light, NO FLASH LIGHTS ARE ALLOWED ON COURSE OR ANYWHERE NEAR THE COURSES! If you or a friend is using a flashlight near a course, you will receive a 50 for...
For those that are night comp virgins. The bprca usually brings out something new at the midnight madness. This year we are going to be running a rock race. Hold on, you dont have to go swapping out your motor. This will be a race against another driver and the clock. Gates will be used to show your skill and to keep speeds down. Heres the skinny: $5.00 entry per person. Winner takes home 20.00 and a new bottle of Jack Daniels!
CRAWL COMP WEDNESDAY, AUG 5TH, SUN VALLEY PARK "M & M POINT". starts between 530 and 600 pm. :spike::spike: Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on location and times in a timely fashion.  http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Quartz+and+Sidehill,+Sun+Valley,+NV&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=34.945679,56.337891&ie=UTF8&cd=1&ll=39.606416,-119.785287&spn=0.008299,0.013754&t=h&z=16&iwloc=A
