We are trying to get together at prison Hill this Saturday for those of us that cant make it to Moonrocks. If you are able to we would love to see you out there. Any questions please send me a private message. Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you Saturday or hearing from you. Andrew
Looks like the Tazer 15t gave up it's ghost, no signs of life. It wasn't the greatest, but it worked for my AX-10. What would you suggest I replace it with? Something under $50 preferably. I am running Integy 45T motor. If I were to get brushless motor, I would need an electronic ESC, right?
No pics yet. I'll take some when I put it all together tonight. http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/ax10artr/img/axial_artr_hdr_748px.jpg
This is once again for rc crawling at prison Hill this coming weekend the 8th. If enough people show up we are more than prepared to run a full comp. If you wanted to show up around 8 and we could do tech at 830 and start at 9. We know a lot of people are going to the comp at moon rocks but we would love to see those of you that cant make moon rocks. PM me with questions and will be glad to answer all of them . Andrew

Here is the new Wheel Pig crawler...or at least what I hope will be. It is quite cool and really tricked out right out of the box. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m181/zipgraver/DSCN4007.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m181/zipgraver/DSCN4006.jpg
I was at Harbor Freight yesterday and they have a Venom Ozone 3 for $69. I bought one and used a 20% coupon so I got it for $55...about the same price I could get one from Hong Kong. It not a bad little chopper. Flies nice and is easy...well...to control. Ceiling fan plays hell with it but all in all it's quite a neat lttle machine. Comes with a 3 channel controller and a lipo and charger. Just what I needed another toy. http://www.rchobbyexplosion.com/v/vspfiles/photos/VNHC-109-2.jpg <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/E9tp3AWFVtg&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/E9tp3AWFVtg&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I'm not sure if this is the place for this but the Reno Radio Control Association is putting on the very first PAM DiCENZO MEMORIAL CLASSIC on Sunday June 14, 2009 to benefit the Reno Cancer Foundation. This will be a day of RC car/truck racing, special events like celebrity racing and monster truck rides, 50/50 drawings, prizes, food and whatever else we can come up with and all the proceeds go to the Reno Cancer Foundation. For those that don't know who Pam was, she was my wife that passed away on December 6, 2008 from metastatic breast cancer and why the Reno Cancer Foundation? They are absolutely the best organization for patient services in the country. Cancer is not only devastating but very expensive. Most people that have cancer, especially older people, suffer terribly financially and sometime have a very hard time making ends meet and paying their bills....even to buying food. The Reno Cancer Foundation generously helps these people...I know we were two they helped so...
I know this doesn't fit but a general hobbies section or model section isn't available. I was curios to see if anyone in here might have an interest in Rocketry either low or high power. We have the greatest launch site in the Americas if not the world right in our backyard The Black Rock Desert. Theres quite a bit of activity out there for this hobby and it attracts a mixed crowd of interesting people same as offroading and R/C. It's extremely family friendly and not quite as expensive as R/C to get the kids into. Plus in usually combines camping and occasionally an offroad recovery event:Dhttp://stores.whatsuphobby.com/-strse-12/Polecat-Aerospace-5.5%22-Hawk/Detail.bok I built a flew this last fall at XPRS and the next one is going to fly in June at Mud Rock. https://blastzone.com/pml/images/agm600.jpg These are 6" dia x 72" long models just to give you the scale.
Anyone here into boat's? I have been wanting one for a while, and just cannot decide on which one to get. I really want to build a large scale powered boat (like a paddle wheel, ocean liner, or some kind of military boat), but I want to get a speed boat first. I ran across a deal on a great planes wildcat boat hull that's in good shape. I found out the boat's been discontinued. I read some review's on it and they all said the boat need's to be modified to be any good. They also said the hull is pretty much the only thing that's good about it. I was thinking about buying it ($50) and putting my brushless stuff in it. Anyone ever run one of those, or should I do what I really want and save up for an electric hydroplane? Thanks
Just acquired this Losi 1/10th slider. Neat rig. Since we're going to have an oval at Mira Loma I figured I'd want to be in on the action. Also I'll be running the impound table this year so anybody that has any ideas of swingin with a club transponder is going to have to deal with me!:gapteeth: http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m181/zipgraver/slider.jpg
