Looking for a 17-18 inch frame size with decent components. Doesn't need to be full suspension. Not sure I'm sold on the rear flexing around. Don't want junk. Thanks for the help. Steve

since i got my bike back, i want to hit some easy trails for starters, so lets get a group and pick a date, anybody interested?

i ride a 07 marin bobcat trail daily. i ride with my son(22 months old) alot. Cutting through the desert and street riding mostly nothing hardcore but tooling around with more trail riding. not with my son tho! anyways so to my question is what exactly is a 29er?

How far west does the Truckee River path go? Is it continuous?

Just went up to Corral loop the other day, with the bike I got from AR15SHOOTER, ( THANKS BUY THE WAY, THE BIKE IS SICK) and I'm looking for other trails and people in south lake that want to go for a ride some day!:wave::beer::smokin:

hey guys, u guys dont know this but, i ride, mountain bikes, and i love to ride trails, i have a brand new 08 gary fisher marlin, realy nice bike i just gotta go get it from storage in cali, but when i do , hopefully next weekend, i was wondering to see if we could get a group together and hit some trails!

:thumbsup:found some nice single trax today while out hiking. not sure where it starts but you can get to it from south las altos then go east. I have GPS to the middle if interested. good trail i was impressed. if some one knows more that may want to post up.

Anyone think they want to go riding after this recent cold spell lifts? I'm looking for something to do on days off and I see all the trails around in these posts. Looking for someone to ride with. I don't have a huge suspension travel bike built for downhill. Just a hardtail with maybe 3" forks.

I have seen many bicycles in the morning going to work. I bought a new one back in June to save on the gas money, didn't take too long to make that up either. Any others riding in more this summer to save on the gas money? Gas is still quite expensive.

Me and the wifey are gonna ride fom spice island to idlewild on sun if anyone wants to go:thumbsup:We will probally stop down town and have a beer and sandwich on the way back we will be at the park across from motion industries at around 10 am.

The snakes are out and on the trail!!! This morning a almost ran over a 4ft rattler in the bottom end of Evans Creek. Almost sh!t my pants, he was a big dawg. Yesterday I saw a water snake in the same area. So heads up!!

Heard it opened up couple weekends ago, has any one been up yet? From the pictures so far, it looks absolutely amazing, much better then last year. Also, any one racing on the 15th?

So me and the wife bought some bikes 2 weeks ago and have been riding 2-3 miles a day. She thought I was out of shape (because i have a beer belly) but she sits behind a desk all day! I do concrete she thought wrong:thumbsup: Anyways we are looking for some other couples to do some riding with nothing extreme! We like the river walk or some off road trails for intermediants.
