I have a Colt M16A2 upper and the front sight post is canted to the right and needs to be fixed or replaced I may also want to replace the upper with an A4 version. Need a pro job any suggestions? (besides the U.S. Firearms they wanted way too much) Thanks!
A big thank you to Sharon and Bill at Maccabee Arms!!! You were great to work with. I named my new baby 522 Wilber
If this thread doesn't pull through I suppose I"ll call :D I have an AA Import IMI Uzi Model B with a closed bolt. I'm looking for a class dealer to help me facilitate the legal conversion to full auto pursuant to the ATF letters on the subject and milling the bolt to slide over the blocker bar. Alternatively, the conversion to SBR (or both) I don't know all the requirements and am hoping for a price quote to walkthrough the process from the re-milling to the licensing. I know a machinist who can do the work.
I have some friends coming up this weekend want to go shooting looking to see where you guys like to go? I am in the Red Rock area so close would be nice.

Sig 552 ,,I needed a little .22lr plinker and this is what i ended up with;) I opted for the standard instead of the SWAT version(quad rail) seemed more comfy to me,,soon as my optics show up I'll give a little range report,,so far on just the visual everything is VERY well constructed with typical SIG quality
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig11/boldin9.1.1.html Someday people will come to the conclusion that people in general just suck. Stop focusing on what we use to kill each other and try and figure out why we feel the need to. But then thats a logical approach and who it the world of politics can ever understand what logic is. The way the think is if we get rid of guns no one will shoot each other and the world will be happy...oh wait now people stabbing each other, time to ban knives...now the world happy...oh wait now people choking each other...time to cut off peoples hands...now the world happy...oh wait now people dont have hands so they cant eat, work or function productivly..but at least they stopped killing each other...:disagree:
Greetings All, I got a deal for you!!!!! If I can get a group of 10 or more this will be a great buy!!! Saiga IZ-132 7.62x39 Rifle • Russian mfg. • 16” chrome-lined barrel
So the boss just picked up a Russian SKS (we believe Russian anyway) and he's interested in doing the AK magazine kit... thingie... yeah that. I know there are likely some sort of 922r issues to address with that, and I suggested he take it to a gun smith who knows how to do it legal and can also probably do the work. I've never dealth with a gun smith before. I'm sort of leaning toward taking it to US Firearm's Academy because they have a smith right there on the floor... Can anyone recommend a place that would be knowledgable in imported weapons?

Well like a bunch of other members I decided to give them a try. I needed 2 Ruger Blackhawk .45lc/acp revolvers. No one in town was able to get them and a couple of stores(not naming any names) told me they where not even made any more. None of the stores would even take my money until they could get it from there distributor. Sharon and Bill told me flat out "Our distributors are out of them and do not know when they will be back in stock. If you want to order them we will be more than happy to do it but we do not know when they will be here." This was acceptable to me as it was a lot more than any other store would do for me. Well after giving them my money, 2 weeks went by and my patients was growing real thin(I felt like a kid in a never ending Christmas eve!)so I decided to do a little research and contacted the Ruger corp. to find out WTF. After getting the run around from a few people I got one of their service people on the phone. I explained my situation to him and he went...

I was just watching Dirty Jobs and I saw a commercial for Henry Repeating Arms. This is the first time I can recall ever seeing a TV commercial for guns. I never thought about it before and I just assumed there was a ban on TV advertising for guns like there is for smoking. I don't watch much of the "outdoors" type channels so maybe its more common than I'm familiar with. It was just something unique and cool to see in a place I wouldn't have expected to see it.
I've got this really old matchlock rifle with the trigger bar under the stock and I'd like to know more about it. I'm pretty sure my grandpa picked it up in his travels somewhere as a merchant marine. I can't really find anything online about it and can't make it down to Vegas to see the boys of Pawn Stars. Anyone know of a place here locally I can take it to learn more about it?
OK, as we got lots of calls for these rare awesome guns, we got a deal from one of our supplier and able to block 5 of the OD Green models (BEAUTIFUL) for the forum members with a price of $500.00 + Tax!! These are the best made 22LR Assault Rifles out there and they are very hard to get! Let me know ASAP as I can only hold these for a limited time! If anyone wants to "feel" one, contact me and we can arrange for you to try my partners:)
Amazing simply amazing finds they're still pulling out of old grown over battlefields. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC9bVNUFCdw&feature=related
Anyone ever see this stock close up? http://sgworks.com/ Other than the optics plane, it looks to be pretty BA!
Out of all of the guns that you CURRENTLY own, what is the one you most like to just sit back and make some cans dance with? For me it would have to be my Ruger Single Six. Mine is the old model (3 screw) and has both the 22lr and 22wmr cylinders. I don't know why but out of all of my guns, even my silenced P22, that is the one I could sit back and shoot all day. I will post a picture of it tomorrow. So what is your plinker of choice?
 I was recently in the market for a low end 1911 (RIA Tactical) for home/personal defense. I saw the thread about the Rock Islands here and Sharon from Maccabee had replied that he could find them. Fast forward to last weekend; me and a buddy from work figure we will take a look around at the gun show Saturday. Both of us had just got off night shift and I was sick as a dog so we both only stayed an hour. Although I saw some stuff that I liked, at that point a crowded gun show (2-3 deep at the handgun vendors) did not seem like the most serene of places to conduct a firearms transaction (I don't know how some of these vendors get through these). At this point I decide to contact Sharon from Maccabee through PM here and see what Maccabee Arms can do for me. The RIA Tactical is becoming harder to find, but he does find it along with several alternatives (Several different people put their names on the Armscor 1911's, they are all the same basic firearm from the...

1. You could get a simple license from the State for a nominal fee and only have to take a test that any idiot could pass. You'd only have to renew it every 10 years for 40 years and maybe retake the test if you move out of state. 2. You could kill and injure people with your gun while drunk and still have your lawyer get your gun back because you need it for work. 3. You'd have half the tax burden of the county and State dedicated to improving the shooting ranges and facilities. The public agrees this is never good enough to suit them and with all the gunowners from California moving in, the range capacity will never catch up. Lines at the range are always shown on TV with the newsies deploring the crowding.
