People just sitting waiting for the sun to start setting to see if the dove are coming off the hill! Yesterday while training my dog back there dove every where today I saw maybe 10 smart little s.o.b's

anyone here shoot a hoyt or mathews bow? I already have a diamond setup that I use exclusively for hunting. I'm really looking into both of the above brands. I'm going to be doing a little bit of hunting but mostly 3-d and range shooting.

Well finally got a pretty damn good size bass this year. Just wanted to share with everyone.
I have a 7 month old black lab that I want to train to hunt. He has a good nose and a good mouth for birds. If you get out a ball or any other toy and throw it he will meander out to it and maybe bring it back once after that he stops caring about the toy all together. I have tried treats, rewards and praise. I seen a lab that does not have any interest retrieving. Any one got any tips for me?
I bought a Mountain Lion tag this year and was curious what taxidermies in the area charge to rug mount one? Can anyone recommend an area they have seen cats?
Just read this story in a Norwegian newspaper online. The translation is not the best, but you get the point. What do you think? http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.aftenposten.no%2Fnyheter%2Firiks%2Farticle3680130.ece&sl=no&tl=en

So California streams open to fishing next sat. (4/24) and I'm heading to markleeville for some fishing. Hope it as good as it was last year. Caught these two last year on opening morning. 8lbs and 3.5lbs. Where is everyone else going fishing next weekend? Or is anyone else even going?
Hi all. So my wife and I are new to the area and now that spring is in the air, we are getting antsy to start fishing and do some target shooting. So does anyone know a friendly down to earth, rod and gun club that we could join. And we are both very interested in learning how to fly fish and just having a good time. So if anyone has some suggestions and such let me know.
I built this press out of 1.5" .120 and 1.25 .120 wall square tubing, a worm drive trailer jack from Washoe Metal, 3/16" plate, and some hardware (grd. 8 bolts, nuts, washers, knobs, etc) I spent less than $100 on this press and similar versions sell for $740-$1,000. I built the limb fingers out of 3/16" plate, a small section of the 1.5" square tubing, and dipped them in liqiud rubber to protect the limbs. The jack opens up to 39" ( My diamond Iceman is 31.5" axle to axle, and my brothers Hoyt is 36.5" so its plenty) and compresses to 23.5". When not in use, the entire press lifts up off the mount so I can use the desk for other things. The last few pics show the bow vise i built too.... No more taking my bow to work and trying to get thngs done on my lunch break!
I am looking for someone with dogs who will guide a hunt. If you know anyone shoot me a PM
