Suggestions and questions about forum features.
Ok how can the google pop up ads be shut off? Everytime I look at a set of threads this google popup, pops up and voila, I can no longer read or click on the first 2 threads in a forum. I don't see any way to close the popup. But, I am blind in one eye.....
I'd like to inform the vendors that they are welcome and encouraged to show their products at the Lake Tahoe Hi-Lo's poker run. Is there a way to do that? Thanks for your time, JonB

99 xj 6" Teraflex lift, pro-comp x-terrian 33 inch tires, RE hack n tap sye, angle of shaft correct, tera-low in np231, aw4 tranny, 4:11 gears. At about 50 mph, got a pulsing howling vibration that hurts my ears. I am wondering if it is my transfer case? Any similar experiences out there?
since a couple days ago, I'm having trouble viewing the forum while using my blackberry. When I try to view the "What's New?" area everything is on the left side and I only can read the first word in each thread headline. Plus it only shows who posted it and thats it. Then I click on a thread and can only view 2-3 post, plus I can't post from my phone? I reset the phone and cleared all the cookies and history 6 times, but its still does it. anybody else have this problems?
I kind of liked seeing everyone's name. Where did the names go??:confused:

Ok this it the status, I have a 76 CJ-5 project that I have to get completed. There is a couple major things that have to be done to it and some minor things. To start I have a wiring harness in it but that is lke speaking a forign language, and other odds and ends if anyone knows a good person to take me jeep to let me know I would like to get this thing started ASAP. Anybody else get logged out before they can even compose a post? I don't know what the timer is set for, but it seems way too quick and it's kind of annoying. Maybe it's a noob thing.
Looks like our old Bluefox theme will be available for vB4.0 very soon. Does the group want it back, or are we satisfied with color/theme selection right now? Of course, if it gets installed, everyone will still have a choice to switch to any of the other available themes.
I liked it better when it was tech topics, the way it is now seems kinda retarded. JMHO.

I don't even know if it is possible as I am no computer genius, but I think it would be cool if we had shortcuts on the home page. You can click on the indavidual threads and go right to them and that is cool. I think it would be just as cool if you could click on the section label and go strait to that section. Like for instance if you click where it says "Tec" or "Market place" you click on that and go right to the whole section after veiwing the recient posts. Just an idea.

Did some of the members lose there post count or have it reset? I am seeing alot of zero under the posts on some of the members.
Lately I have been seeing a lot of new members that have seemingly only joined to use this site as a Craig's list. Though I do feel every member has a right to post in the sale threads, I don't feel it is right to join for that reason only. A lot of other sites that I have been to have a 25 or even a 50 post minimum to keep people from doing this. I feel that with this recent blow up of spammers with attitudes taking advantage of Dennis's kindness, maybe a minimum should be established here as well.
The 100x100 avatars are looking kind of puny when I'm at 1280x960. Could we bump them up to 150x150? theres a good amount of space to the right that isn't being used.
I know there was a problem about a month ago that took the home page off. I'm just wondering if and when it will be restored.
