We Stretched The Jeep 10" Just Like The New Unlimited.

Crack Kills! We Cut The Frame And Picked Up Some Tub And Frame Sections From A Wrecked Wrangler. I Took 10" Frame Sections And Boxed The Insides With 1/4" Plate Extending Out 3" Each Side. Then The Pieces Were Slipped Back Into The Frame Rail And Tacked Then Final Welded. The Inside Of The Frame Rails Were Plated With 14"x4"x1/4" Plate For Stiffiners. I Forgot Picks Of The Final Frame Job, But Ill Post Some Later.

To Cover The Body Streched Areas We Fabricated These 3/16" Steel Sides For The Jeep. We Also Moved The Rear Fender Well Back And Enlarged It To Make Room For The Larger Tires. Our Shop Can Custom Make Corners Or Side Panels For All Cj, Yj, & Tj's. We Can Modify Them For Any Lights, Ect You May Want.

THE JEEP OF COARSE HAD TO HAVE TUBE FENDERS, Here's Our 1 5/8" Tube Fenders With Removeable Panels. Also You Cant See Very Well In The Pick, But The Rocker Guards Are Finished. They Were Made Out Of 3/16" Plate. All The Body Panels And Rockers Are All Fastened With 5/16" Counter Sunk Bolts.

Next It Was On To The Bumpers. We Cut The Front Of The Frame And Crossmember Out Giving Us 6.5" OF Better Aproach Angle. The Winch Mount Was Fabricated Out Of 1 5/8" Tube Moving It More Towards The Grill.

The Bumpers Were Also Fabricated Out Of 1 5/8" And Were Made To Bolt On.

Heres The Progress Ofthe Cage. It Is Also Built Out Of 1 5/8" 1.34 Wall Tubing. We Built The Cage To Safely Cover (4) Passengers And Still Have Room To Pack All The Gear.

Unimog axles cost less than Dana 60s do, they are just harder to fit and only come with one gear ratio.

HE'S RIGHT, UNIMOG AXLES ARE CHEAPER. ADD UP 2 USED DANA 60'S, GEARS, MASTER KIT, LOCKERS, INSTALL, ECT AND YOU WILL FIND THEY ARE MUCH CHEAPER. THE DOWN FALL IS THAT THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO INSTALL BECAUSE OF CLEARANCE ISSUES. WE HAVE INSTALLED THESE IN LAST YEARS COMPETITION BUGGY AND 3 OTHER JEEPS. THEY HOLD UP WELL AND YOU CANT BEAT THE CLEARANCE!

Yes, It Was Painted In The Shop And It Was A Mess. Here Are Picks Of The Sliders, Fenders, Ect, Installed And Painted. We Decided To Make A Cut In The Steel Sides To Make Them Look Like It Had Black Corners. Its Also Nice Because If Its Damaged You Dont Have To Replace The Whole Thing.

Lack Of Knowledge Or Wanting To Go Hardcore. Most Guys I Have Talked To Didnt Run Mogs Because They Couldnt Find Anyone Who Knew Anything About Them Or Knew How To Put Them In.

Since The Theme Was Black And Orange, We Converted The Whole Interior Over To Black. Here Are A Couple Pics With The New Dash, Stereo, And Steering Wheel.

NOTICE WE GOT THE SHIFTERS MOUNTED AND SEAT MOUNTS DONE. THE ROD COMING THREW THE CONSOL IS THE T CASE LEVER. INSTEAD OF PUSHING IT FORWARD OR BACK, YOU PUSH IT UP AND DOWN. WE PUT A HURST T HANDLE ON IT AND IT WORKS GREAT.
