They made me work all week, just because they pay me...

I am sooooooo tired.

And now I am going to prep the steaks for tomorrow, wonder how many and who shows up, any friend of me is welcome...

So since Leif is leaving this site, does that mean he gets to keep all the stuff people donated for the raffle? :scratch:

I don't mean or want to start anything about Leif leaving. It is a sincere question.
I think the prizes would have been nice to give out to members that participate in trail cleanups or something else for the site.

If not (for new giveaways) then they should at least be given back to the vendor who donated them for the original cause. It was $ out of their pockets to benefit Luke and Todd!

Good point. Also people paid money for tickets with the thought that they might win a prize too. Not that that was the main reason for donating for anyone, but it was a part of the whole, larger event in general and should be treated as such.

I still have a few prizes from the raffle that no one have picked up yet.
I am thinking of post one more warning, and then place the remaining prizes out as Geocaches arrange a scavenger hunt weekend...

Yes and then Leif was upset because no one showed up to an unscheduled planning meeting and the geocaching idea was scrapped. Then the idea of giving them away at a trail cleanup came up and went nowhere. :dunno:

I offered!!! and informed him I had experience with the issues on your trailer from Raffles for our snowmobile club in Idaho, and since I was injured I had "NOTHING BUT TIME" I told him to confer with you and Dennis (just for the record) I don't want to turn this into a Leif bashing He has a Big heart just different opinions.

I know AS can defend himself but I must say I was there when the raffle took place and AS did not agree with the way Leif wanted to handle the prizes. I also know Leif was a lil ticked off at the lack of help he recived when he was tryin to get feedback in the raffle. He really didn't know the best thing to do at the time. BUT in light of Leif no longer being with this site I think if someone would like to step up and take care of the rest of the prizes and see the best way of goin about it, that would be great. There was a lot of confusion as to were the prizes were and who they went to as well. Leif and I had some discusions about this situation. Maybe on of the mods can take over this whole thing and leave Leif out of it. Im sure he would more then happy to wash his hands of it. He was willing to do that in the past....

I did NOT say I was leaving,
I said I signed up with therockgods, and would spend more time there.

I am still a paying member here, and have no plans to change that, not at this point.

First, AS, I have nothing against you, I disagree with some stuff, but that's OK in my book to disagree. If everyone agree with me, I won't learn anything new.

I am open for suggestions, my point is to use the remaining prizes to some thing that is good for the R4x4 community, it is a lot of great people here. And I am still impressed about how you all pulled together last fall for Luke and Todd.

Easiest thing to do is post up a giveaway for paying members. Post a wheelin' pic, online scavenger hunt using google image, etc.
