    Esc

Looks like the Tazer 15t gave up it's ghost, no signs of life. It wasn't the greatest, but it worked for my AX-10. What would you suggest I replace it with? Something under $50 preferably.

I am running Integy 45T motor. If I were to get brushless motor, I would need an electronic ESC, right?

Why go brushless?? You don't need speed. You probably have the best motor for a crawler in that Integy lathe motor. That's what I run. Just get your self a cheapo ESC like Traxxas or Axial stock one. Crawler's probably the easist RC vehicle to outfit. Don't beat your head against the wall.

Drag brake is just the third channel on the radio, ESC has nothing to do with it.

I agree with Werty Mambas are a-one.

If you go brushless, you will need a brushless esc. I have a sidewinder/mamba system and really like it, but that setup was about $150.

I'm sticking with brushed motor. Looking at Sidewinder vs. Tekin threads at rccrawler.com

You're confusing it with dig. Drag brake is when the car stops immediately after you let off the throttle.

Oh sorry my mistake. I have some cheapo EZRun escs that have a programmable drag brake which can be made to stop the vehicle immediately upon releasing the throttle. Even the Wheel Pig crawler with its Exceed RC ESC does that but it's not programmable.
