    winter off road trailer project

I put this together last year and it works great
I would like to enclose the top and henge it.

would any one be willing to trade some sheet metal work for ?
I have a Dana 70 ARB, Dana 44 limited slip, new upper soft doors for a TJ, small construction JoBox, 3hp upright 60gal compressor, MONEY!

    the top is 48"x72"x12"

i also want to switch out the suspension to independent. so will be looking for some 6 lug wheel hubs to match my jeep, air bags,
    6 lug 17" wheels and 37x12.5 r17 tires.

Are you looking to get the top made or do you just want some sheet metal? What kind of metal are you looking for, size and gauge? I work at a sheet metal shop, so let me know what you need done.

    sheet metal will work

I just need it paint able. if I Pm you with sizes maybe we can work a deal I,m not sure of thickness
the tent is bolted to steel tubing so it is just to protect the fridge, generator and stuff like that from dirt.

that's the lower pond right above horizon hills. So tony, how do you plan to stabilize the trailer when tent is set up? I'm also working on a trailer tent but want one that has the enclosed vestibule/dressing area. Looks good. Your brother helped me add a receiver hitch below the tailgate on the old trailer and its a nice feature to have. Remember his old green monster w/ the slide out beds? LOL where has the time gone? You would not recognize the trailer now a days... and tnx to Crasher Tim for all the help and ideas!

I built in drop down adjustable legs to stabilize the trailer while wheeling they tuck up inside takes seconds to set up.
is that the same trailer you had last summer when we went camping dog valley with Dave and mike?

this cost me as much in the long run just could not swing the cash all at once.

seen your add on craigs list I am going to try and get Rubicon taxi to build a trailer.

no, thats the venturecraft. i have Crashers old sears camp trailer, the one that had the two beds tha slide out, but its now converted to a utility trailer... at least until i can find a suitable tent for the trailer, then sell the venturecraft.

    looks good tony!

Mark this is how I stabilized the rear they telescope down and level it side to side with a small
torpedo level I will mount a small RV level on the rear later.

this the front leveling crank I welded up a center piece to telescope down for the correct hight
    it works great.
then I glued a level on the to it so I can adjust the level to the rear.
