You would be better off with an Axial AX-10. Start small and build from there. There is a million parts and upgrades for that machine and they are easy to come by.

I loved it for a shafty. the weakest thing were the axle pins constantly walking out and breaking plastic parts i would take stock in locktight if i ever owned one again.

poor boy if the venom has a black himoto body and its $175 get it it was mine and the guy lives in gardnerville.

    Venom Creeper

They do a good job making it look worthy with the videos and ads for it. We almost went with that one but since we're new to these I opted to go with the RTC AX10. I needed to get a hands on look at one already assembled just to be able to understand them. Trying to prebuy research all of this none of it made any sense to me. It also all seemed a lot more complicated than it actually is. I liked the idea of being able to engage the differentials independently on the Venom, though I think being able to brake a specific wheel could be more useful. Haven't seen anyone offering that option yet.

Availability of aftermarket parts that the AX10 had and the Venom lacked was my final deciding factor for the AX10 instead.
