Yeah, I still got it. $1500 invested and it spends more time being tinkered with than run.

My wife got me a Losi Micro Crawler for my birthday this year. I love that thing. Ideal for the office, you can crawl alll sorts of stuff on your desk.

I also built a little rock course on my patio table at home.

I bought 2 more battery packs and a wall charger otherwise you run out of juice fairly quickly.

    More info and specs:

    http://losi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB0236

(took the pictures out of the internet, could not find the charger for my camera)

Here's a pic of my kiddo's (Brown Jeep body) ax10 and mine (cut up black bronco body)

They've got basher bodies on them right now. Both are fairly built, ungraded lockers, ring and pinions, steel transmission gears and outputs, VF digs, upgraded servos. Mine has eritex comp heavies in the front with regular eritex wheels out back, both rocking white dot rovers on custom memory foams.

Next up is a couple of custom chassis's and some different shocks for both of them.

Its all about penetration and an inch can make the world of difference. Ask your GF
Just take it easy, have fun......some guys think they need an Atlas to back out of the garage.

how did he manage that? ive dropped my ax-10 off some pretty good dropoffs and never even got close to that. is the maxstone housing alot weaker than the axial housing?

seems the axial unit is much stiffer and has some larger bearings. plus the shafts are supposed to be weak although i havent broke one yet

and idk how he did it. i was at moonrocks the day before and dropped it 10+ feet so maybe i softened it up for him

yea, ive been in crawling for maybe 6-8 months now and thats deff a first ive seen.

i think i need stronger gears in my housing though. im pretty sure the gears in the pumpkin up front are shot. i can spin the wheels about 1/4 of the way freely then they grab again for 3/4 of the rotation, then slip again. haha
