How did I find Reno 4x4?

I recently bought a boat from one of the members, 49wilyzz. He invited me to the site and told me to watch the event schedule. I am a stone-cold rookie, and being of the "older" generation, thought maybe my wife and I would join you for a beginners ride of some type. I have a 98 Jeep Wrangler Sport. It is box stock, and I joked with Neil, that it it too pretty for serious off-roading! Doing occasional light off-roading, and trying to wear out the fishing boat I bought from Neil, I should be able to avoid the rocking chair for awhile!!

I always have the ability to say something to offend someone somewhere.

It's people like you that make me look smart.

No, don't take it personally. I offend everyone, it's my gift.

I came across this site several months ago after my Nissan 200sx was wrecked and I was waiting for the insurance company from the person that hit me to pay for my car. So I was looking for a replacement and found a Jeep Cherokee for sale for $1500 and and extra for $500 more that I could use for parts or what ever. I came here looking for information and just ended up hanging around and enjoying the post on this site. Well I didn't get either of those Jeeps, as I was pretty much stiffed by the insurance companies because I was 50% to blame according to them and since my vehicle was a Salvage titled from Ca, I would only get like $200 from them. I do finially have a 4x4 though, but its way to big for the trails you guys go on. Though I would like to go on some trails suitable for a stock Suburban.

    New member!!!!!!!!

    Hey,
I'm new to this site and am looking for a good 4x4 trip for me and my family. I have a 1992 Toyota ext. Cab w/ 6" lift, 33" tires, and a 8000# Warn winch to help me along. I also have a 1979 Blazer that I plan to redo in the winter months. I have been here for 7 years and finally got me a truck worthy to write about, so I think. I would like to meet people or know of trails in my area to tackle as a group or on my own. I used to have a 1970 Landcruiser that I took on the Rubicon about 10+ times befotre they started to redo it for more "Pretty Trucks". I am not afraid of dents or dings, but just want tro have a good time....

E-mail me at danlom@yahoo.com to let me know.

    Thanks everyone for your help.............

    Dan

    Nevada is for truckin.

Well it's either drive a sports car, a rice rocket or go four wheelin. It was an easy choice. I don't have pics yet but I will when i get them uploaded. I do have a pic of three of us co-workers(all jeepers) who made it to work in the 2004 heavy snow. And after that we didn't get paid for the whole day, and those who didn't show up(more like didn't make it) got paid, management felt bad for them. Sucks for us but it was fun.
