Damn, I wish. My CS professor is a cruel bastard and said he "didn't like" the time of the UNR scheduled final. So I have it today. Then work after that until 5. And tomorrow I have to catch up on all the stuff I've been slacking on because I haven't had a free day in a while. Still also have to install the new throttle cable I bought the other day.

Many novices were dying after that last year. Lot of guys said it was too long for them on the course. But you can get extra ride time by doing the practice

I understand. Considering rider turnout, it's probably the right decision.

Now I need to argue for the sake of arguing...

Maybe those guys need to get in shape? Were the complainers a bunch of MX guys who don't understand the implications of a MRANN race? I did this thing the last 2 years and had no problems. Even 2 years ago when we did the silty downhill and waterfall that was cut out last year. And I was/am a total newb at this stuff. But I was prepared to pace myself for a couple hours. Yeah, I was tired; I always thought that was the point; figured endurance was part of desert racing. I finished the Cheaters race last Nov in dead last after dark and consider it a great accomplishment.

OK. end rant. It will still be one of the most fun races of the year

Most were mrann guys, only has a few moto guys show up and most raced Ametuer, also 2:30 is around the hottest part of the day and once you guys get to the course it's not gunna be soo smooth anymore

I don't recall exactly; was Novice the middle race 2 years ago? I know we went 1st last year.

I'm sure I'll be in for something this weekend.
Just got back from a week in Atlanta confined to hotels and planes and need to get out.
