    Body shops

I noticed two body shops, any ideas which one, or another that's reasonable? Been wanting to get a large job done but new to the area so I'm a little hesitant.

Did great work for me on my MJ with the best price around I could find after a lot of shopping around. Though I recently called them for a quote on my WJ and they never called me back? 2009 and they don't seem to have a website?

    Arrow
Big new shop down the street from Big Valley Honda
No idea why their web site is still showing the old address?
    http://www.arrowtrans.com
Their new shop is as clean as a hospital and they are doing full service. Recently needed a new radiator in my WJ, Lithia wanted $900, Pro One wanted $1000, Arrow did an outstanding job for $500 by an ASE certified technician. We've started taking our fleet vehicles there and the techs are extremely knowledgeable and the work is great, prices even better.

For tires we have a new name in town that's well known by those of us who are from places other than here.

    Discount Tire
    http://dt.know-where.com/DiscountTir...ion/US/NV.html
These guys were the first to ever offer fix a flat and do tire rotations for free no matter where you originally bought the tires from. They have also always had far better prices than anyone else you could find anywhere. I was actually disappointed when I moved to Reno and discovered there was no Discount Tire here, we have 2 now, one on S Virginia and one at Galleria in Sparks.

    Exhaust Work
Someone help me out here because I can't think of their name for the life of me?
Their shop is located over there by the Sears Service Center off Glendale in Sparks (but not on Glendale). These guys are like the masters of exhaust work, its claimed to even be where local owners of car dealerships take their own vehicles for custom exhaust work. They do outstanding exhaust work, just wish I could remember the name so I could look up an exact address.

I am one hell of a picky SOB when it comes to having vehicle work done. Even just little things can easily get a place on my bad list. I'm an electronics technician by profession myself so I fully know it's not the place you go but the tech you get that makes all the difference in the world between a good job and a bad one. Never had a bad experience with any of the places I listed after multiple visits, or they would not of made my high expectation list. Have 3 vehicles of my own and work for a company that has an entire fleet of vehicles so no one here I've mentioned were just a one time in and out experience. I'm also a major price shopper, checking everywhere first for the best price, not always going with the cheapest, but certainly always looking into what I have done before doing it.

    Trent Fab,
You're on my list of the only new place I'm interested in checking out. Love your crawler out there at the calROCS events and your CKRC sponsor. I have work on both my MJ and WJ I'm in the market for having done and will be checking you guys out first.

I just had a really good experience with a shop. I went to Cooper Emissions shop over off of Rock in Sparks, and it was awesome. Several shops pointed me in the direction of Jim Smith for a carb tune up, and smog. This guys was able to figure out what was wrong with my 79 Bronco, fix it, and smog it all in an hour. He had the cheapest hourly rate I could find too.

If anyone is looking for some good carb work, quickly, and with a good shop rate, give Jim a call. He also owns Mooney's Automotive, and Im sure that shop is good too.
