Even though they are both rickety POS's they look good together:

Sunday rolled around too soon, as it always does, and we packed up camp to head home down the treacherous steep road.

but in the end, all was well and we made it back home safe and sound.

I think we normally go to Grizzly? Which is not on the water, but you can walk down to the water from it. its right adjacent to the dam, and I think grasshopper flat is a little further up?

You know... If I had a rig like that I would carry around an old news paper, so if I ever ran into someone with heat stroke I could convince them they had slipped back in time.

Wow, been a year since I updated.

Jeep went through some trials and tribulations over the past 12 months, running worse and worse on the EFI. MSD was little to no help, in the end telling me "its probably your HEI" and leaving it at that. Well, they were right I guess.

I eventually modded a duraspark dizzy with a buddy of mine, so the advance was locked out and we could phase the reluctor. I added an MSD ignition control box, and this allowed my EFI to control timing.

Holi canoli, it runs awesome and smooth now. Took a little tuning, and it still does a few odd things like popping from the exhaust under certain conditions, but woowwie wow wow its like a whole new vehicle!

I like the new setup, but what happened to the pop-up?

Rotting away in my back yard. A 38 year old pop up is a thing to be fussed with. Every season I have to repair and reinforce all kinds of junk. The roof is rotted out and leaks a little, the torsion axle is screwed up on one side and sits a few inches lower, it rattles apart on back roads, its bigger and heavier and more annoying to tow, heater doesnt work, so on and so forth.
