My brother and I had good luck with a couple of 90cc Chinese quads for our daughters. (We couldn't afford name brand quads) Except for an unvented gas cap we had no troubles with them. We did have to tighten and lock-tite alot of bolts when we first purchased them.

The Chinese Honda clones can be good, or bad... typically the suspension and brakes are terrible, try to find one with a Lifan motor if possible. They'll do the job though, and kids will outgrow.. I'd think it makes a lot of sense going that route.

When I was considering a Chinese D/S, txpowersports.com seemed to be *the* place to buy from. I would not recommend purchasing from any brick and mortar shop (if there are any), most I've dealt with have been fly-by-night scammers looking to make a quick buck and then disappear..

Couple of tubes of locktite blue, a night of exploring and you should be good to go.

Wasn't there a place place on Rock, across from the airport that sold these cheap Chinese ATV's? I think it was called Scooter City, or Scooter Town.
I only drink a little, but when I do, I turn into another person, and that person drinks a lot.

I think it's still in business, I stick by my admonition to not shop locally for these.. I had dealings with people down there, they operate like the scammiest used car sales lot you can imagine and after sales service..forget about it.

If you can get the exact same thing for less than ordering online, avoid all the addons they'll try to pressure you into buying, come with cash and be prepared to deal with any problems yourself. Might be worth it. The hard part can be determining the quality of merchandise, there are good Chinese knock-offs and really bad. Lots of research is your friend.
