There are lots of gear heads at Burning Man. The Gambler 500 is really getting popular too, it is a lot of fun.

I've been to BM 3 times, my growing distaste for Liberals and their behavior means I wont likely be going again.

Its a really cool event. No tourists. All must be in costume.

Critical tits parade. Got to see it one of the years I went with a great spot. 8000 women were estimated to have rode that year in the parade. How many guys can say they've seen 16000 naked boobs in a couple of hours (in person). While drinking cold beers sitting in a jeep, my friend and I were on staff that year. Driving privileges for security.

my buddy Rick is a hard core, old school redneck rancher and for decades scoffed and poked fun at anyone stupid enough to go to BM. Then 3 years ago someone gave him and his equally doubtful wife two tickets and they reluctantly went, just to see whats it all about and to confirm their opinions.

They came back with a 180 degree attitude and have gone every year since. Just an observer this is a lot to see. And critical tits is an experience not soon forgotten. (.)(.)

Its a monster size party, with lots of eye candy and things to do everyday all day. I'm not very good about filtering my thoughts outside of work, I doubt I could go there again without confrontation that I dont need. I'm happy for everyone that attends and gets to party.

WIth their namaste thang, and their fondness for peace, and transparent government, and nudity, and euphoria-inducing meds, and tolerant attitudes, and home brew, and home grown, not to mention strange eye-candy art with LED's, and willingness to share with anyone, and their love of chemical-free food, sense of community, willingness to defend the underdog, ability to keep an open mind, process new information and learn from it, and, yes, it can be a sausage party. So I look at the boobs, instead of the sausages. But if that's a problem for you, yes, I get why you're uncomfortable. I mean, they're everywhere!!!

    But Battledome looks like fun.
